About The Company

Independent Land Surveying was established to provide a service-oriented company that is dedicated to enhancing the professional surveyor’s traditional skills with state– of– the–art technology while adhering to the principles and laws. In 1998, ILS purchased a well established 25 year old Seymour firm, Tracey Engineering and Surveying. Then in 2005 acquired Martin Engineering Services and in 2007 obtained Columbus Surveying and Engineering. ILS has expanded staff, equipment, and scope of services as we continue to provide a professional, efficient, and quality product to our clients.

 

We presently use the latest technology in office and field equipment along with compatible software for field data collection. To stay abreast of the industry, Independent Land Surveying, Inc., is currently a member of Indiana Society of Professional Land Surveyors and Hoosier Hills Local Surveying Chapter of ISPLS. In addition to the above technical affiliations, our employees are involved in various civil and community organizations and also continuing education.
